There are some people who really need to be castrated to stop them breeding because they are simply unfit to be parents.

I don't always agree with your point of view Maffi, but on this occasion I totally agree with you, where are the cops when you need them!!!

The trouble with your pessimistic comment is that you give encouragement to Health & Safety crowd and to those who look for Political Correctness. As a consequence adventurousness and expressive behaviour is being squeezed out of the population, by load of grumpy ruddy duddies.
Thank f**k I moved out of the UK when I did!

If he wants to ride his bike without the proper protection thats OK but she cannot make an informed choice. Her cycle helmet may protect her if she falls off her bike but it will do nothing of the sort if she goes down the road after being hit by a car she will not survive. That is not expressive that is at the very least manslaughter. He should lose his licence for that.

Couldn't agree with you more. He should lose his licence.

His stupidity could cost a young girl her life, or the NHS a fortune trying to repair broken bodies.

I hope you got his number.

His risk is fine.
Hers is not. She should have proper protective equipment on.
I don't mind seeing kids on the back of a bike, but that helmet is just stupid.
