Discrimination

DSCF0494 I am a bit miffed that they keep making these offers “Two 4 One and children Dine Free. What about single people? Don’t we get a break? Why should we pay more for our food than everyone else?

Maffi,

The trick is to have two main courses but no starter or pudding.

Try it and watch their reaction.

I agree, but you could have the 2 for 1 and tell them to put one of the meals in a 'doggy bag' for you to take home and re-heat later, or give it to Molly if it's sausages... :)

Yes I could do that, but I have still paid more for my meal than was necessary.

Apparently, some of the food banks get their food from the "get one" part of supermarket buy one, get one deals.

Perhaps you could do something similar and invite a homeless person to dine with you, or at least get a doggy bag for them. :-)

Next time you're in Braunston let's have dinner and a pint there and it'll be a bargain for both of us.

Well I agree with Maffi it is unfair and discriminates against single diners.
Usually the 2for1 meals are only worth about a £5, so why should he always have to pay double?

I totally agree. Have you asked any of these places if they'd give yoU a meal at half price cos you are single? Tell them Molly doesn't really like veg too much so could she have extra meat instead… can't change the price of you r meal can it?
