First things first

When ever you moor up it most important to get the urgent jobs done straight away. This couple have just pulled into the side. The lady is holding the boat on the centre line and her husband/partner is putting up the TV aerial. The bow and stern ropes are yet to be secured. I often wonder why some people come boating. You can watch TV at home.

Perhaps they check whether they can get a decent TV signal before tying up, and if they don't they move on to somewhere where they can, saves tying up and untying again, just a thought.

I think Hadar is right.

Prolly but it is just so wrong, especially as just around the corner were several boats with aerials.

That's hilarious, but then I would say that as I don't have a tv.
Last month I let another boat pass me, and about an hour later caught up to them in a really nice spot where they appeared to be mooring up, but no- they HAD moored up, but were now leaving.
"No signal, no stay!" he called out, pointing at his six foot aerial that clearly wasn't doing the job. I took their mooring instead. :)
