Wolverhampton Flight

From CRT:- Our investigations have revealed the lock wall has moved significantly, probably through water ingress from the recent vandalism, and it would now pose a danger to any boat using it. We have therefore reluctantly closed the lock until repairs can be carried out. At this stage it is envisaged the lock will remain closed until at least the 12th of July. Further updates will be posted once more detail is known regarding timescales.

Wolverhampton Flight

Is anyone in the area can you get a pic of the damage?

The crack is irrelevant its the hole I want to look at. Any one have a couple of close-ups.

Hi Maffi,

You might think the crack is irrelevant, but I bet you wouldn't take your boat in there and then empty the lock!

Incidentally you only asked for a picture of the damage, which is want Wozie and I directed you to.

Sorry John
You are right I wouldnt but I think the crack might have been caused by whatever it was that made the damage in the middle of the lock. Apologies for sounding flipant.
